Job Summary
Transport students, staff, and equipment to cities, medical centers, and community projects by bus or vehicle while operating the Center bus as required. Clean vehicles, report mechanical conditions, and transport vehicles to maintenance centers. Ensure acceptable student behavior, maintain housekeeping, and comply with safety practices, CDSS plans, and all Center policies. Participate in mandatory PRH training and perform other duties as assigned. Available for any shift or day of the week due to 24/7 operations. Requires a valid state driver's license, DOT medical exam, and one year of passenger driving experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must be available to work any shift and day of the week due to a 24/7 operation
- Computer Literacy with basic computer functions, email, internet, and basic programs such as Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to demonstrate safe driving habits and practices; following all state and national safety regulations and standards
- Ability to pass DOT medical exam
- Minimum of one-year of driving multiple passengers experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Valid State Driver's License
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision
