Job Summary
Drive residents to and from specified destinations such as doctor's appointments, grocery shopping, and other errands while operating all Community transportation vehicles safely and effectively. Monitor residents' overall well-being, reporting any status changes to the supervisor, and verify coordination of mileage records with gas expenses. Maintain records for vehicle preventative maintenance needs and costs, report billable hours, and submit quarterly reports to management. Comply with all Driver and Motor Vehicle guidelines and may conduct safety training for other operators. Work part-time Fridays from 9am to 3:30pm at a rate of $18-$19.
Required Qualifications
- valid State driver's license
- appropriate driving record
- ability to read, write, and speak English
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to drive and maintain various types of vehicles
- knowledge of streets in Denver Metro area
- ability to navigate to and from destinations
- 3-6 months experience in a driving position preferably with senior adults
