Job Summary
Drive residents to and from specified destinations such as doctor's appointments, grocery shopping, and other errands while operating all community transportation vehicles safely and effectively. Monitor residents' overall well-being, report any status changes to a supervisor, and maintain accurate records of vehicle preventative maintenance, mileage, and billable hours. Comply with all Driver and Motor Vehicle guidelines and may conduct safety training for other operators. Submit quarterly reports to management. Full-time Monday through Friday schedule with a starting pay of $20.00 D.O.E.
Required Qualifications
- valid State driver's license
- appropriate driving record
- ability to read, write, and speak English
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to drive and maintain various types of vehicles
- knowledge of streets in Denver Metro area
- ability to navigate to and from destinations
Desired Qualifications
- 3-6 months experience in a driving position
- experience driving with senior adults
- High school diploma or GED
