Job Summary
Transport clients, staff, and supplies to program sites, appointments, and vendors while researching traffic, construction, and weather delays. Operate agency vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws, inspecting and maintaining them before each use, updating daily trip logs, and ensuring regular preventive maintenance, cleaning, and fueling. Follow emergency procedures for accidents and reinforce safety policies such as seat belt usage. Maintain a professional standard of conduct representing the agency in the community. Requires a valid New York State Driver's License, high school diploma, and five years of driving experience.
Required Qualifications
- Valid New York State Driver's License
- High School Diploma or Equivalency
- At least Five (5) years of proven driving experience
- No statutory or major violations are listed on MVR
- Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations such as rush hour, construction, and heavy traffic delays
