Job Summary
Driver’s License Examiner (part-time) conducts interviews, examinations (written, vision, and road), and vehicle inspections to determine eligibility for driver’s licenses or state IDs at designated locations. Responsibilities include verifying documents, advising on disqualifications or waivers, administering tests, establishing and maintaining license records, and communicating regulations to applicants. The role is storefront-based, requires reliable transportation, may include Saturdays, and has a $19.06 hourly rate with a maximum of 24 hours per week. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience), proficiency typing 50 wpm, and prior DMV/customer service experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in any field OR four (4) years of technical clerical office work OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Possession and maintenance of a valid Oklahoma Driver License is required
- Typing at least 50 wpm with minimal errors
- Flexibility to work early/late shifts, weekends, and occasional overtime
- Experience conducting interviews, administering written and road tests, and vehicle inspections per state/federal regulations
