Job Summary
Loads, unloads, and move materials and products from delivery trucks using hand trucks, forklifts, and electric pallet jacks. Read work orders or follow oral instructions to ascertain materials, load items into vehicles to prevent shifting, and convey products between the truck and designated areas. Arrange products according to prearranged plans, count and record units handled, and document breakage or spoilage on appropriate sheets. Perform other duties assigned by supervisors as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to use a forklift and/or electric pallet jack
- Must be able to read work orders or follow oral instructions
- Must be able to count and record units of materials moved or handled
- Must be able to arrange products according to a prearranged plan or own ideas approved by management
