Job Summary
Process and categorize students' driver's education applications, prepare them for written examinations through lectures and discussions, and evaluate their performance to determine readiness for final instruction. Monitor and direct students in the program while reviewing assigned areas regularly for contractual compliance and effectiveness. Support career development services by helping students acquire employable skills and participate in evaluation panels. Maintain a safe, clean work area, enforce the Zero Tolerance Policy, and model appropriate behaviors through mentoring and interventions. Adhere to student schedules and safety practices to cultivate a climate free of harassment.
Required Qualifications
- Valid certificate to teach driver's education in the State of California
- Experience with youth
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Computer proficiency
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
