Job Summary
Driver's Aide responsible for the health, safety and welfare of students and individuals during transportation across Connecticut. Work closely with drivers, management, parents and school staff to ensure proper safety restraints are used, monitor students during transport, and maintain incident reports. Requires strong communication, ability to work independently or as part of a team, completion of mandatory training, and physical ability to assist with securing clients, operating wheelchair lift and other equipment. Prior experience with students or individuals with special needs preferred.
