Job Summary
Assist passengers with boarding, exiting, and securing safety equipment while monitoring clients during transit to ensure compliance with standards. Provide calm, respectful support for emotional or behavioral concerns and collaborate with drivers to address safety or behavioral alerts. Maintain vehicle readiness and cleanliness, then contribute to accurate trip reports and incident documentation. Participate in required trainings, complete time and expense reports, and advocate for passenger dignity throughout the journey.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must participate in, prior to hire and annually thereafter, a Human Performance Evaluation conducted by a medical provider of the company's choosing
- Must pass all required background checks
- This position is subject to random and annual drug and alcohol testing
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience transporting individuals with developmental disabilities, behavioral health needs, or medical conditions
- Experience transporting individuals with developmental disabilities, behavioral health needs, or medical conditions
- Training in crisis de-escalation or passenger assistance
