Job Summary
The Certified Medication Aide (CMA) works under the direct supervision of the charge nurse to ensure timely and accurate med passes and maintain high-quality resident care. Responsibilities include reporting changes in patient condition to the Patient Care Supervisor, following charting guidelines for PRN documentation, reporting medication reorder, participating in meetings/trainings/in-service, and inventory documentation of drugs on appropriate forms. Requires current certification for Medication Aide and the ability to communicate effectively in English (spoken and written).
Required Qualifications
- Current certification for Medication Aide
- Ability to communicate effectively in English through both speech and writing
- Previous patient care experience preferred
