Conduct complete pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections to verify tire pressure, fluid levels, and safety equipment. Safely operate a collection truck along designated routes to service customers, reading route sheets and following dispatcher assignments. Perform compactor operations to lift, load, and dispose of refuse at designated facilities while maintaining adherence to all safety policies and federal regulations. Identify unsatisfactory waste containers, tag them per departmental procedures, and clean spill areas. Complete daily vehicle condition reports, route productivity sheets, and other required documentation. Maintain operational readiness to minimize downtime and meet productivity standards.
