Job Summary
Deliver fleet cars and vans to and from rental locations, navigating written directions and following all rules of the road. Transport vehicles locally or out of area as needed, ride with or follow other drivers to drop off or pick up multiple vehicles, and ensure vehicle paperwork is accurate and timely. Communicate via 2-way radio or cellular phone when required and perform vehicle cleaning and miscellaneous duties as assigned. Maintain a valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations in the past three years and reside within a 30-minute commute of the Decatur, AL location. Work Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 8:00am to 5:00pm with Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday off.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years
- Candidates with more than 1 excessive speeding violation (defined as 26 or more miles per hour over the posted speed limit) on their driving record within the last 3 years will be disqualified from consideration
- No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
- Must be living within a reasonable commute of no more than 30 minutes from this location
- Must have at least six (6) consecutive months of prior work/organizational experience
