Job Summary
Drive a truck equipped with an auxiliary concrete mixer to receive sand, gravel, cement, and water from the loading hopper, then transport the mix to job sites for unloading. Operate levers to release concrete through the chute into wheelbarrows, containers, or pour areas, while assembling the cement chute as needed. Clean the truck after each delivery to prevent concrete hardening and spray protective compounds to avoid adhesion. Maintain mechanical knowledge of equipment for repairs and adhere to all company, OSHA, MiOSHA, and MSHA safety rules. A valid CDL A or B license, clean driving record, and ability to pass pre-employment screenings are required. Previous RediMix truck experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Valid license, CDL A or B
- Clean driving record for past 5 years
- Ability to pass a pre-employment pass and drug screen
- Ability to follow all company, OSHA, MiOSHA, and MSHA safety rules
- Ability to pass pre-employment DOT physical and drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience driving a RediMix truck
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to work in a team environment and take direction from Supervisor
- Mechanical knowledge of equipment, machines and tools including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
