Job Summary
Drive a truck equipped with an auxiliary concrete mixer to deliver concrete mix to job sites. Operate the vehicle under the loading hopper to receive sand, gravel, cement, and water, then start the mixer. Move levers to release concrete down the chute into wheelbarrows, containers, or the pour area. Clean the truck after delivery to prevent hardening and spray surfaces with protective compound. Assemble the cement chute and maintain mechanical knowledge of equipment, machines, and tools. Requires a valid CDL A or B, clean driving record, and ability to follow all safety rules. Previous RediMix truck experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Valid license, CDL A or B
- Clean driving record for past 5 years
- Ability to pass a pre-employment pass and drug screen
- Ability to follow all company, OSHA, MiOSHA, and MSHA safety rules
- Ability to pass pre-employment DOT physical and drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience driving a RediMix truck
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to work in a team environment and take direction from Supervisor
- Mechanical knowledge of equipment, machines and tools including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
