Job Summary
Make outbound calls to warm leads, qualification screening, and initial pre-screening interviews for potential CDL drivers. Utilize the Tenstreet ATS and various sourcing channels to review applications, verify driving records, and ensure compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations. Collect candidate documentation, maintain an organized database, and generate recruitment reports for management. Collaborate with Driver Recruiters to schedule interviews and support the selection process while building a strong talent network.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment software, and related tools
- Strong computer and typing skills in a Windows environment, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Ability to handle high volumes of inbound and outbound calls and email
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities and competing deadlines
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team while taking initiative
- Capable of thriving as a team player but also driven by autonomy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to talk and hear
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Recruiting, customer service and/or sales experience
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of CDL requirements, FMCSA regulations, and industry standards
- Previous experience in recruitment, particularly in CDL driver recruitment or a related role within the transportation or logistics industry
- Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities
- A commitment to safety and compliance
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate candidate documentation
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, informed decisions
- Exceptional communication - strong oral, written, interpersonal skills, and active listening skills
- Experience with TenStreet ATS
