Job Summary
Review and submit all required driver background documents, including full applications, ensuring only qualified candidates proceed to next-level processing. Gather licensing documentation for units added to the fleet and administer onboarding for all new applicants by following standardized processes. Book road testing, orientation, and drug testing for applicants while issuing Carrier's Edge training. Answer inbound calls to ensure daily queue coverage and provide education on reaching field recruiters. Prepare draft reports, background documentation, and research as needed, along with post-event analysis and regular status reports. Achieve new driver broker file processing targets and exceed time of hire standards while maintaining productivity in a high-transactional environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of secondary education
- Minimum 3 years administration or clerical duties in the Transportation Industry
- Superior time management skills
- Multitasking skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision
- Ability to work independently
- Communication skills – advanced both verbal and written including proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Computer skills – accuracy, MS products, Salesforce.com, web based programs
- Demonstrated customer relationship skills
- Strong conflict resolution skills
- Able to work deadlines in high transactional environment
- Ability to champion business needs in a collaborative manner to colleagues
