Job Summary
Source candidates from job boards, social media, and local networking events to attract potential driver applicants. Conduct thorough interviews to assess qualifications, driving experience, and compatibility with the independent contractor model. Guide candidates through onboarding, ensuring documentation, background checks, and compliance with company standards are completed. Establish relationships with drivers to foster trust while communicating company values and benefits. Track recruitment metrics and provide regular updates to management on hiring progress and challenges. Ensure all drivers meet legal requirements, including certifications, insurance, and vehicle condition standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in recruiting, preferably in logistics, transportation, or a similar industry
- Proficiency in using recruitment tools, databases, and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to address candidate concerns and challenges
