Job Summary
Drive a truck equipped with a concrete mixer to deliver mix to job sites, operating safely under loading hopper to receive materials and release concrete into pouring areas. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, assemble and disassemble chutes, clean the vehicle to prevent hardening, and maintain accurate driving records. Monitor equipment for safety and maintenance while communicating effectively with dispatchers and customers. This full-time role requires 6 days a week with variable hours and overtime availability. Candidates must hold a valid California Commercial Driver License with Air Brake and Tanker Endorsements.
Required Qualifications
- Possession of a valid unrestricted California Commercial Driver License (Group A or B) and comply with Department of Transportation regulations
- Must have Air Brake and Tanker Endorsement and a safe driving record
- Knowledge of road construction materials, road construction processes and industry requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must be available 6 days a week and to work overtime as needed
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to lift materials
- Able to communicate effectively with other staff
- Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- A strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines
