Job Summary
Ready-Mix Driver Trainee healthily positioned to operate concrete mixers and deliver ready-mix concrete to job sites; responsibilities include punctuality, safe operation of the ready-mix truck, adherence to safety regulations (DOT/OSHA), safe and timely delivery, load inspection and adjustments, ensuring concrete quality, and vehicle maintenance; collaborate with dispatch and teammates for efficient operations; qualifications include CDL A or B, English proficiency, a clean CSA/MVR, no recent DUI/DWI or excessive moving violations, with a high school diploma preferred; strong safety awareness, communication skills, and basic maintenance knowledge are desirable.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL A or B)
- Be able to read, write, and speak English
- Acceptable CSA - MVR
- No DUI’s or DWI’s in the last 5 years, no more than 3 moving violations in the previous 3 years
- High school diploma, preferred - bilingual a plus
- Driver must qualify as not prohibited in the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse
- Airbrake endorsement may be required in certain areas
