Job Summary
Safely transport staff, visitors, documents, and goods to designated locations while ensuring vehicle maintenance, cleanliness, and compliance with traffic laws. Conduct routine checks on oil, water, tire pressure, and lights; maintain accurate mileage and fuel records; and report mechanical issues or accidents immediately. Assist with basic administrative duties such as messenger services and office errands when not driving. Handle company property with confidentiality and ensure all vehicle documents remain valid. Maintain punctuality and professional conduct under minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE C+ ) or a College Certificate
- At least 3–5 years of proven experience as a professional driver, preferably in a corporate or NGO setting
- Valid driving license (Class BCE or as applicable)
- Certificate of Good Conduct: Required and up to date
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws
- Good knowledge of local roads and routes
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Good time management and reliability
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion
- Ability to work under minimal supervision and under pressure
- Attention to detail and safety consciousness
