Job Summary
Transport clients to and from facility programming, admissions, appointments, activity trips, and other events; monitor client safety and behavior during transport; complete transportation documentation and vehicle logs; provide verbal reports to oncoming staff; assist with crisis situations and medical emergencies as needed; ensure passengers wear seatbelts and vehicle is maintained in safe condition; coordinate with facility staff and participates in on-call schedules; support positive role modeling and effective communication within the multidisciplinary team.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid state driver's license
- CPR and de-escalation certification may be required (training available upon hire)
- First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements
