Job Summary
Transport Center Residents to prearranged physician and/or dialysis appointments and scheduled outings arranged by the Center. Maintain required documents, vehicle registration, inspection, and insurance while ensuring the vehicle is clean, repaired, and compliant with the operating manual. Coordinate a weekly usage schedule with the Executive Director and DON. Complete Competency Training Checklist and review Clinical Policies and Procedures for Abuse Prevention to enforce employee responsibilities. Hold a valid Texas Drivers License, DMV passing record, no outstanding citations, and be a Certified Nursing Assistant with current CPR Training Card. English reading, writing, and speaking skills required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Texas Drivers License
- Pass inquiry from DMV of driving record
- No outstanding criminal/civil citations
- Certified Nursing Assistant
- Current CPR Training Card
- Ability to read, write and speak the English language
- Must successfully complete Competency Training Checklist
- Ability to maintain within the vehicle documents required for operation
- Ability to assure vehicle registration, inspection, and insurance are current
- Ability to maintain and coordinate a weekly usage schedule
- Ability to maintain vehicle cleanliness and assure vehicle is in good repair
- Knowledge of Cantex Senior Communities Clinical Policies and Procedures for Abuse Prevention
- Knowledge of employee responsibility to enforce Abuse Prevention policies
