Job Summary
Driver/Preventive Maintenance Custodian responsible for maintenance and repair across district facilities, delivering supplies, and maintaining a safe, clean environment. Performs preventive maintenance across electrical, plumbing and HVAC within capabilities and licensing; handles painting as needed; manages supplies with site-based custodians; monitors and reports safety concerns; assists with special custodial projects and snow removal; operates mechanized tools and equipment; follows MSDS instructions for safe chemical handling; opens the district office in the mornings; on-call for Bright Futures Preschool; orders and delivers supplies district-wide; provides training and support to custodial and maintenance staff; assists with moving boxes and equipment; maintains floor surfaces and punctual reporting of repairs and issues; ensures compliance with applicable laws and district policies; communicates effectively and works cooperatively with staff, students, parents, and community.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2 year previous maintenance experience
- AZ Driver's License
- Criminal justice/Fingerprint clearance
- Any equivalent combination of training, education and experience that meets minimum requirements
- Computer Proficiency: The ability to read and respond to district emails and interact with the work order tracking system
