Job Summary
Load, unload, and deliver supplies to designated locations while planning efficient routes and conducting daily vehicle inspections. Maintain accurate delivery records, monitor inventory levels, and communicate with customers to confirm details and address concerns. Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate loading and unloading, ensure vehicle cleanliness, and adhere to all traffic rules and safety protocols. Requires a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role
- Excellent knowledge of traffic laws, regulations, and routes in the delivery area
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to safely lift heavy items, follow proper lifting techniques, and adhere to physical capabilities required for the position
- Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently under minimal supervision
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using GPS navigation systems or route optimization software
- Familiarity with supply chain and logistics operations
- Previous experience in delivering medical supplies or similar products
