Job Summary
Operate a tanker truck to safely transport gasoline, diesel, and aviation fuel to designated locations while adhering to all safety and regulatory guidelines. Follow designated routes to ensure on-time delivery, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and load/unload products using proper procedures. Monitor delivery records, conduct routine maintenance, and report vehicle malfunctions promptly. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate schedules. Requires a valid CDL with hazardous materials endorsement, clean driving record, and flexibility for night shifts, weekends, or overtime. Required Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for transporting fuels (e.g., hazardous materials endorsement)
- Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably with experience in transporting fuels or hazardous materials
- Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents
- Strong understanding of transportation regulations and safety protocols related to fuel transportation
- Ability to operate a tanker truck and handle fuel loading and unloading equipment safely
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Physical stamina and strength to perform loading and unloading activities, often in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records and complete necessary paperwork
- Flexibility in working hours, as this role may require occasional night shifts, weekends, or overtime
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to all applicable rules, regulations, and protocols
- Must be able to lift and pull up to 40 lbs
