Job Summary
Conduct effective, safe, and efficient driving duties to deliver packages to customers on scheduled routes while meeting service and performance objectives. Transact business in accordance with the company code of conduct, load and unload assigned vehicles, and operate warehouse equipment as needed. Resolve customer complaints, handle hazardous materials and prescription drugs per company procedures, and ensure routine vehicle maintenance. Submit required daily, weekly, and monthly compliance reports and assist the fulfillment center in daily operations when not delivering. Maintain a secure, organized, and clean warehouse and vehicle environment while adhering to all local, state, and federal motor carrier laws.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Obtain a satisfactory MVR review
- Ability to drive assigned vehicle
- Knowledge of delivery area and ability to read maps
- Able to work as an effective team member
- Basic problem solving/troubleshooting skills
- Effective time management skills
- Lift and carry up to 55 pounds
- Team lift 56 to 100 pounds
- Move loads on pallet jack (w/pallets/totes/barrels) weighing up to 2,500 lbs
- Load and unload vehicle
- Maintain acceptable driving record
- Current driver's license
- Perform all work in accordance to Company Safety guidelines and procedures including all required Safety and Compliance Training and regulatory licensing
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- One-year experience as a delivery driver preferred
