Driver

Supervise all activity on the van during routes, enforce departmental policy, and ensure compliance with safety procedures for personnel and vehicles. Maintain records and release reports to the transportation coordinator, while communicating with the office to keep client information current regarding behavior, attendance, and address changes. Anticipate daily needs such as tissue, paper towels, gas, and seating capacity, and coordinate efforts to ensure all route duties are performed. Release vehicle problems in writing to maintenance and report any en route issues or parent complaints. Treat all clients with courtesy, tact, and kindness, and move child safety seats between vehicles as necessary. Requires a current driver's license, auto liability insurance, and ability to drive a Pathfinder vehicle in Arkansas.
