Job Summary

Conduct safe operation of motorized vehicles, both automatic and manual transmissions, transporting or moving vehicles on lot as assigned. Perform routine maintenance including regulating tire pressure and adding gasoline, oil, and water. Test vehicle equipment such as lights, brakes, horns, and windshield wipers prior to driving and notify supervisors of any problems. Complete accident reports when necessary and deliver or pick up mail and small packages. Follow relevant safety regulations, state laws, road rules, and speed limits while navigating using maps or GPS. Available to work 10-25 hours per week with a varying schedule.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to drive automatic and manual cars, light trucks, and vans (non-cdl vehicles) to and from different locations
  • Must be available to work as assigned between 10-25 hours per week with a varying schedule
  • Ability to follow a map or GPS directions
  • Ability to get in and out of a vehicle without injury
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time (up to 6 hours or 350 miles) with appropriate rest breaks either riding as a passenger or operating a vehicle
  • Must be able to operate a vehicle in all types of weather and all times of day or night
  • Must be able to complete all required forms
  • Must be able to follow directions or follow a map
  • Only light lifting is required
  • Must be able to exit and enter a vehicle without assistance
  • Must have 20/20 vision (with or without corrective lenses) including peripheral vision
  • Must be able to hear with or without assistance
