Job Summary
The Driver (Part-Time) will operate community vehicles for outings and resident appointments, assist with loading/unloading residents, and help set up activities while ensuring safe, compliant transportation. Responsibilities include following state and federal vehicle laws, performing vehicle inspections, maintaining safe environments, and aiding the activity staff during community outings. Requires a Class B or C passenger-endorsed license, HS diploma, and strong customer service skills; availability includes Saturdays, Sundays, and additional weekday shifts as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have either a Class B or Class C license with Passenger Endorsement to drive the bus
- Prefer two (2) years of experience driving a vehicle/van/bus transporting people.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
- Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
