Job Summary
Operate community vehicles safely for outings, excursions, special activities, and personal resident appointments. Assist with the safe loading of residents and their belongings onto and off-of-community vehicles. Follow all state and federal laws when operating community vehicles and comply with standards for proper vehicle inspection and driving. Act as a member of the activity staff when on outings or within the community while maintaining a safe environment for all staff, residents, and guests. Work part-time shifts from 9:00am to 5:30pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have either a Class B or Class C license with Passenger Endorsement to drive the bus
- Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
- Must be available for Friday & Saturday shifts
- Must be available for 9:00am-5:30pm shifts
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer two (2) years of experience driving a vehicle/van/bus transporting people
- Excellent customer service skills
- Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families
