Driver Operations Specialist

Job Summary
Manage a group of up to 30 drivers by dispatching loads, planning routes, and coordinating tank wash assignments to maintain 95% on-time service. Maintain driver calendars, track home-time requests in TMW, and validate dispatch plans for regulatory compliance. Engage daily in safety conversations, review bonus results, and issue disciplinary actions as needed. Ensure Hours of Service updates in ELD and verify equipment profiles with the Maintenance team. Participate in an on-call schedule for 24/7 operations while performing quarterly ride-alongs. Coordinate with Central Scheduling and Equipment Planning to maximize loaded miles and driver earnings.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years truck transportation industry experience
- 2+ years of experience in a leadership or management position
- Ability to travel multiple times per year as needed for training and career development purposes
- Must be comfortable using a computer and various software programs
- This is a full-time position, in office, 5 days a week
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move items up to 20 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
