Job Summary
Transport shipping containers to various destinations, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to DOT regulations. Read maps and follow directions to ensure accurate and efficient delivery routes. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, vehicle maintenance, and delivery times. Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure a high level of service and satisfaction. This role requires a valid Class A CDL, two years of truck driving experience, and a current TWIC. Manual transmission driving is required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A
- Proven experience as a truck driver (minimum 2 years)
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation management
- Ability to read maps and follow directions
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- NO major violations or accidents in the past 3 years
- Possess a current TWIC
- Ability and experience driving a Manual Transmission truck
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with local roads and delivery routes
- Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and repairs
