Job Summary
Weekend Evening Shift Driver for patient transportation at UHS Wilson Medical Center. Responsibilities include operating department vehicles Safely and efficiently, aiding patients with transfers using wheelchairs or stretchers, performing daily/weekly safety inspections and documentation, completing driver logs, adhering to routes and dispatch instructions, and ensuring compliance with state/federal motor vehicle regulations. The role involves transporting patients to testing sites, nursing facilities, and private residences, assisting with transfers, handling equipment, and supporting department operations in a hospital setting.
Required Qualifications
- Current unrestricted drivers license
- Two (2) years' maintenance of any form of drivers license with evidence of a clean driving record
- Preferred: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Two (2) years’ driving experience
- Customer service, organizational, communication and time management skills
- Previous health care experience
