Job Summary
Manage assigned routes ensuring customers' waste is picked up safely, timely, and accurately according to federal, provincial, and local rules. Plan daily schedules by reviewing manifests and route sheets, then follow routing software while preparing, loading, and unloading trucks with proper waste securing. Perform pre-trip and post-trip maintenance on the vehicle, complete DOT logs and paperwork, and communicate route changes or issues to supervisors. Operate in both indoor and outdoor conditions, including inclement weather, while complying with all safety protocols and subject to drug and alcohol testing.
Required Qualifications
- 0- 1 years of experience, preferably in driving Box Trucks and route management
- Valid Driver's License
- All CMV drivers must be able to obtain a medical card by a certified medical examiner
- May require mandatory immunizations and credentialing based on customer requirements
- Must be able to lift (implied by physical requirements section listing Lifting, Pushing, Pulling, Crouching, Handling)
- Must be able to stand (implied by physical requirements section listing Standing)
