Job Summary
Deliver materials to customer sites for Builders FirstSource (BFS) as a Non-CDL driver. Responsible for loading, securing, transporting and delivering materials weighing 10,001-26,000 pounds, unloading at delivery sites, verifying order details, and maintaining delivery logs. Serve as a customer service liaison, ensure safe operation and compliance, perform routine safety checks, and use hand-held devices to document DVIR/HOS. May operate a forklift or non-motorized material handling equipment; work in a production environment with physical demands including lifting up to 100 pounds regularly and up to 200 pounds with assistance. Requires High School Diploma or GED, 21+ years, a valid driver’s license, clean MVR, DOT medical card within 5 days of request, minimal moving violations, basic math/reading English, and ability to maintain safety and logs.
