Job Summary
Operate a small Cut-a-Way style bus to provide safe, reliable, and efficient public paratransit transportation for seniors and people with disabilities in Weber, Davis, and South Box Elder Counties. Deliver customer service with a bright positive demeanor while working under limited supervision to meet or exceed minimum safety standards. Receive paid training for a Class C CDL with passenger endorsement and pass required DOT physicals and background checks. Earn a $2,500 sign-on bonus and qualify for annual safety bonuses. Enjoy a split shift schedule with full-time or part-time availability.
Required Qualifications
- Must be receptive to positive on-going training/coaching to improve safety performance.
- Strong safe driving history for both personal and/or professional.
- Must possess strong personal integrity and accountability to work with minimal supervision to meet or exceed minimum safety standards.
- Must be of strong moral character, people oriented, attentive, and maintain a bright positive demeanor to meet our mission in providing the best customer service experience to our passengers.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.
- Must have or be able to obtain a valid Class C Commercial Driver's License with Passenger endorsement (with our provided training) and a valid Department of Transportation Medical Certificate.
- Must be able to communicate with the public.
- Must be at least 21 years old to apply.
- Must be able to pass State of Utah lifetime background check.
