Job Summary
Mover/Driver responsible for loading/unloading furniture and items, safely driving 26 ft moving trucks in the Portland area, packing/wrapping items to prevent damage, communicating professionally with customers and team members, completing basic paperwork, and maintaining trucks and equipment. Requires 18+, valid driver’s license with a clean record, ability to pass a background check, lift 75 lbs+, and at least 6 months moving experience. Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends in a local moving company environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the past 3 years
- Ability to pass a criminal background check, according to O.D.O.T. regulations
- No felonies or certain misdemeanors within 5 yrs
- Ability to lift 75 lbs. or more and perform physically demanding tasks consistently
- At least 6 months of previous experience in professional moving is required
- Strong communication skills and a dependable work ethic
- Willingness to work in diverse job-site environments and adapt to changing circumstances
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Reliable transportation to our Hillsboro office
