Job Summary
Operate company vehicles safely and in compliance with all traffic laws and policies while following assigned routes and schedules using dispatch instructions and GPS systems. Provide excellent customer service to passengers, including assistance for individuals with disabilities, seniors, and the general public. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintain accurate trip logs, and ensure vehicles remain clean and presentable. Hold a valid North Carolina Driver's License with a clean record for at least three years, be at least 21 years old, and pass background checks and a DOT physical. Earn competitive hourly pay with paid training and opportunities for advancement within the Charlotte-based micro transit team.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a valid North Carolina Driver's License
- Must have been a licensed driver for at least 3 consecutive years
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and DOT physical (as required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-service oriented with a professional and respectful demeanor
