Job Summary
Driver for PTI in Meridian, MS responsible for safely transporting railroad crew members to requested locations using company-provided vehicles. Emphasis on safety, on-time performance, and customer service; no prior professional driving experience required. Role includes operating doors/hatches for crew, communicating with Dispatch, reporting defects, and adhering to company policies. Starting pay $12.00/hour for DYV drivers and $13.00/hour for OTR drivers; benefits include health insurance options, paid vacation, 401(k), on-the-job training, and opportunities for advancement; home daily.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 21 years old
- Have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Have a minimum of 3 years driving experience (personal or work-related)
- Must be able to pass a post offer drug screening, MVR, and homeland security background check
- Be able to arrive to the branch location within 30 minutes to ensure on-time performance is achieved
