Job Summary
Driver Merchandiser at Coke Florida based in Daytona Beach. Delivers/unloads products to customer locations on designated routes, stocks beverages on shelves, displays and in coolers, and merchandise rotates products according to standards. Responsibilities include invoicing/collecting payments, handling company assets, and complying with regulatory policies. Uses smartphone tech for orders and invoicing, and leverages electronic logging systems and fleet-management tools. Requires a Commercial Class A license, clean driving record, ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, ability to operate hand-truck and pallet jack, and DOT/CMP requirements; manual transmission experience and DOT physical/medical card compliance are needed. 21+ years old, U.S. work eligibility, and relevant driving/warehouse experience are preferred; hazmat endorsement may be required. This is a full-time, first-shift role with weekend work, located in Daytona Beach, FL.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must have a valid Commercial Class A driver's license
- Must have a driving record with no major moving violations in the last three years
- At least 1 year of general work experience required
- Ability to operate a hand-truck and powered industrial equipment
- Ability to obtain and maintain a powered industrial truck certification
- Familiarity with DOT regulations
- Must be able to pass a Department of Transportation physical and/or have a valid DOT Medical Card
- Operate manual transmission
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- 1+ years of commercial driving experience preferred
- Local delivery experience preferred
- Customer service and cash handling experience preferred
- Prior grocery store and/or consumer products experience a plus
- HazMat endorsement may be required
