Job Summary
Communicate clearly with dispatch, utilize a smartphone for job functions, and complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections while maintaining vehicle cleanliness. Transport clients safely and securely using a company vehicle, including wheelchair-accessible vans, buses, or sedans for non-emergency medical transportation, ADA paratransit, shuttle services, and lifts. Participate in rotational on-call duties and perform other duties as assigned. Must be available to work any shift, including rotational on-call duties, based on operational needs.
Required Qualifications
- Over the age of 21
- Licensed for at least 5 years
- Valid Driver's License
- No more than 2 moving violations within the past 3 years
- Ability to pass a DOT drug screening
- Ability to pass a mandatory criminal background check
- Physical ability to secure clients in wheelchairs or other devices
- Positive attitude
- Genuine desire to help others
- Availability to drive varying shifts
- Availability for rotational on-call duties
