Job Summary
Driver/Material Handler responsibilities include delivering products using company vehicles and performing warehouse duties: receiving, storage, packaging, shipping, and distribution. This role operates forklifts and pallet jacks, unloads incoming trucks, verifies materials against delivery tickets, maintains vehicle condition, and conducts inventory control. Requires strong math/problem-solving skills, ability to lift 50–70 lbs, independent work capability, attention to safety protocols, and valid driver’s license with driving experience. Familiarity with warehouse practices and ability to obtain CDL/Forklift certification are a plus. Works within a team environment with a focus on accuracy in inventory movements, order fulfillment, and safe, organized operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong math and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and follow procedures
- Physically able to lift 50 lbs regularly and up to 70 lbs occasionally
- Familiar with standard warehouse practices
- CDL and Forklift experience or ability to obtain certification
- Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
- Clear verbal and written communication
- Comfortable standing for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for shipping and receiving
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record and 3+ years of driving experience (if driving duties are required)
- Eligibility to work in the U.S.
- At least 21 years of age (per DOT/FMCSA requirements)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
