Job Summary
Driver/Material Handler on 2nd Shift in North Wales, PA, responsible for operating forklifts and company vehicles, internal material handling and external transportation between company facilities and vendors. Ensure accurate movement and placement of materials, load/unload trucks, perform pre/post-trip inspections, maintain logs and bills of lading, comply with DOT/OSHA safety standards, and collaborate with production, warehouse, and logistics teams. Requires Class B license, OSHA forklift certification desirable, 3+ years in manufacturing/warehouse environments, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and strong attention to detail and teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Class B required
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) desirable
- 3+ years of experience operating box trucks, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and perform physical tasks requiring bending, stooping, lifting, and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance is a plus
- Familiarity with inventory tracking systems is a plus
