Job Summary
Driver Manager overseeing on‐road operations and driver performance in a white‐glove Home Appliance Installation environment. Responsibilities include monitoring operations, preparing manifests and routing for DOT compliance, training and onboarding staff, building driver schedules, ensuring payroll accuracy, managing daily exception processing, coordinating with 3PL locations, investigating freight and claims, ensuring DOT safety standards, conducting on‐road observations and Safe Work Habits assessments, and coaching drivers to improve performance and customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Must obtain and maintain a valid DOT medical card.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance.
- Transportation Operations knowledge (Routing, Scheduling, DOT & Safety Compliance)
- Hands on leadership with ability to fill in during absences or busy seasons.
