Job Summary
Lead a fleet of 30+ drivers by managing availability to maximize productivity and reviewing Profit/Loss to find profitability opportunities. Coach Driving Associates to achieve weekly mileage goals through effective home time and hours of service management while developing relationships that ensure safety, service, equipment care, and retention. Collaborate with planners to assign drivers to lanes, discuss load service expectations, and provide timely in-person reviews. Track freight to final destinations for on-time delivery, ensure payroll accuracy, and proactively communicate safety expectations including pre-trip inspections and route conditions. Work closely with sales and account teams to maintain current customer information.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years' in Operations and/or Planning and/or Customer Accounts
- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- Must be able to lead others
- Must possess exceptional communication skills
- Must be able to multi-task
- Must be able to work in high pressure situations in a fast paced environment
- Must be proficient in MS Office
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
