Job Summary
Driver position for Livestock Nutrition Center requiring a Class A CDL to operate heavy trucks and trailers (including bobtail) delivering bulk and bagged feed within roughly 200 miles of Cameron, TX. You’ll be the face of LNC to customers, maintain relationships, and ensure safe, compliant delivery with proper placement of loads. Responsibilities include planning routes, maintaining driver logs per regulations, performing pre/post inspections, communicating with supervisors, and delivering exceptional customer service. Must have at least 2 years of tractor/trailer experience, Class A CDL, and be able to work weekends on a rotating/seasonal basis; English proficiency and willingness to undergo background/drug checks are required. Full-time employment with benefits; home every night, with occasional overnight travel as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- Proven work experience as a truck driver
- Ability to work weekends on rotating/seasonal basis
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders
- Experience with electronic logs and GPS
- Knowledge of truck driving rules and regulations
- No disqualifying criminal or major traffic violations within specified windows
- Willingness to undergo background and drug checks
- 21 years of age or older
- Ability to read and speak English
