Job Summary
Respond to dispatched calls to provide roadside assistance, including flat tire changes, fuel delivery, minor repairs, lockout procedures, and damage-free towing. Communicate with dispatch regarding call status and accurate ETAs while performing emergency road service duties safely. Conduct daily truck inspections, maintain fuel and fluid levels, and keep the storage yard clean and secure. Drive defensively in all weather conditions, adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols. Candidates must reside in the Salt Lake Valley, hold a valid driver's license, and pass a DOT medical exam. No prior experience is required as comprehensive training is provided.
Required Qualifications
- Reside in the Salt Lake Valley
- Ability to successfully pass DOT medical exam
- Current and valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to bend, stoop, walk and stand for periods of time in all types of weather
- Willing to take a drug test and background check
- Confident and capable to drive in inclement weather
- Proficient in utilizing mobile and computer applications for completing administrative work
- Proficient in paper-based administrative work
