Job Summary
Transport residents to and from appointments and assist with inside and outside community activities as needed. Adhere to safety measures when transporting and assisting residents on and off the community vehicle, ensuring they are provided privacy, respect, and dignity. Monitor the community vehicle's performance, ensure proper maintenance, and keep the vehicle safe, clean, and free of clutter. Follow standard precautions and infection control procedures while completing state required training annually. Possess a valid state driver's license or CDL with a good driving record free of moving violations. Full-time or part-time employment with a competitive benefit package for full-time staff.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills for word processing
- Ability to speak, read, and write in the English language
- Current and valid state driver's license or current and/or valid CDL license as required
- Driving record in good standing, free of any moving violations and acceptable to the insurance carrier
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Ability to pass a comprehensive reference check
