Job Summary
Driver/Laborer I responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing water and sewer lines, meters, sidewalks, roads, and storm drains; operates various trucks (including dump and utility trucks); performs meter readings and reports anomalies; conducts snow removal and responds to service calls; provides customer service to residents. Requires a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, and must obtain a Class B CDL within 12 months; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work collaboratively in a team; able to pass pre-employment and annual physicals.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from high school or GED equivalent
- A valid driver’s license
- Must obtain a Class B CDL within the first 12 months of employment
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing
- Ability to work as a member of a team
- Ability to pass pre-employment and annual physical examinations
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, climb, crouch, stoop, lift objects up to 50 pounds
