Driver

Driver for a Job Corps center to transport students and materials, perform routine vehicle inspections, maintain transportation logs, report repairs and accidents, and ensure safety and compliance with program requirements. Responsibilities include driving center vehicles to destinations such as bus stations, airports, medical appointments and training sites; picking up and delivering materials; maintaining vehicles per center and regulatory standards; and supporting other departmental functions when not driving. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid state driver’s license with necessary CDL or passenger-carry endorsements and an excellent driving record. Knowledge of safety guidelines and ability to maintain logs and perform inspections are essential.
